Naturally Gluten Free Simple Orange Baked Salmon

You will need:
salmon filets - the amount doesn't really matter, your cooking time will remain the same, and you can adjust ingredients to suit your needs

I usually bake a couple of half-pound filets and have leftovers for salmon salad the next day at lunch
1 orange (navel works well)
cilantro (for my 2 filets, I usually use about 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped)
freshly ground black pepper(to taste)
sea salt(to taste)

Preheat the oven to 400F.

Lightly mist a baking pan with olive oil or non-stick spray.
Place the salmon filets, skin side down, on the pan.
Wash and dry the orange, then remove 2 teaspoons of peel with a zester.
Juice the orange, and pour the juice over the top of the filets.
Sprinkle the orange zest evenly over filets, and add pepper and salt to taste.
Bake salmon for 20-30 minutes, depending upon thickness, until the fish flakes nicely with a fork and is no longer opaque (be sure not to over cook!).
Remove fish from the oven, sprinkle fresh cilantro over the top, and serve.
