Aren't they gorgeous? You have no idea how excited I was when the box containing these elegant pewter measuring spoons and stand arrived last week! I knew how beautiful they looked in the catalog photos, but oh, my goodness! When I actually saw them in person, I immediately realized what all the fuss is about when it comes to Crosby & Taylor pewter products! I couldn't wait to use mine...

Funny how one item, seemingly a small part of the experience, can transform your baking into an elegant affair.

Note the detail on the spoons as well as the stand. It's unmistakably Crosby & Taylor!
What began as an adventurous acquisition of a friend's pewter studio has turned into a 25 year dedication to producing the finest pewter and ceramic pieces for your kitchen (not to mention the adorable children's gift items!).

Holding these durable measuring spoons, you will feel the craftmanship in each piece. In my set, with the lovely Vineyard design, you will notice the handles are curled grapevines, and the inside and out bear the intricate deatil of beautiful grapes. Displayed on my kitchen counter, these measuring spoons lure me in, making me want to mix a batch of muffins, create a cake, bake bread, just to be able to use them! 

And I want you to have a set, too. Fortunately the nice folks at Crosby & Taylor agree. So, thanks to them, we have our first GIVEAWAY of this a-MAY-zing month – a set of fine American made, lead-free pewter measuring spoons and post in my favorite Vineyard design.

I had not heard of them before, but they are gorgeous. I am glad I found your site, my mom recently found out she needed to be gluten free and I am always on the look out for recipes to insure she has something tasty to enjoy at every family gathering. Looking forward to trying some of these items for Mother's Day Brunch.
