Tealish ~ Artfully crafted gourmet teas
When was the last time you had one of those weeks?

You know the kind... the kind where it seems you have more to do than there are hours in a day.

I had that kind of week last week. By the time the weekend rolled around, I was way ready for a relaxing cup of tea (or two!) and perhaps something a little stronger later!

It was one of those weeks where I had to be out of my "element", you might say... I was in an unfamiliar kitchen!  At times, let's be honest, that tries my patience. I like to know where things are and to be able to move fast... be efficient.

I rarely cook in kitchens I don't know. I do it on special occasions, with friends or where there is another VERY GOOD reason for it. This last week there was a VERY GOOD reason for it.

What was it? I wish I could tell. I can’t (just yet). I will. It's just that I've agreed not to mention too many specifics until we're ready. Believe me... it's killing me. I am horrible at keeping a secret! I'm horribly excited too!

Needless to say, I was looking forward to Sipping Sunday!  I know… I can have tea any day of the week.

Sipping Sunday, though, is the new time I've set aside to try special teas with you. I like the idea of the new tradition on my "social calendar".

This week, it was also in the back of my mind because I knew I had some superior teas to share...

Discover with me a trio of teas from Tealish, a Toronto-based tea boutique where blending tea is akin to creating modern art. Think of Tealish as your modern-day tea apothecary!

I'm in Mississauga, I'll have to check them out next time I'm in the city. I could use the tea to relax because I'm allergic to cats and I'm currently cat sitting my parents' 2 cats for 2 weeks. They're driving me crazy.

Good Evening Gigi!

I am a tea fanatic and these look great! I relax with tea almost everyday because I believe that it is important to take time out to calm your mind and appreciate the moment. It's such a simple, yet powerful thing.

You are no doubt going to need some R&R after this ordeal!

I need to relax with Tealish because I'm doing manual labor, 8-12 hours a day, outside on the prairie in South Dakota, with a bunch of men (and sharing a house with them...with one bathroom), for 10 weeks. Yikes! If that's not enough, let me offer two words: barbed wire. Ouch.

This tea sounds heavenly! And Canadian too -- that makes this prairie girl most happy!
I could use a cup of tea to keep me perky through a sudden change in work routine, and to serve over ice as the warm weather approaches :)
