Olivia’s Cafe is located at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. This has been a favorite resort of ours for several years, as it is a Disney Vacation Club property. We aren’t DVC members; however, all the Vacation Club resort properties have villas, which we prefer to a standard hotel room.
In all our stays at OKW, we didn’t dine at Olivia’s until earlier this year during our trip to the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival.
Olivia’s is touted as offering hearty home cooking with a taste of the Florida Keys. You know we love that Keys vibe! It’s a low-key, casual spot that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner table service and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. There’s also a kids menu, of course. You can view Olivia’s menu here.
We needed a late-night bite, so we stopped in to ask if there was a table available. We were told there was not, so I just stepped outside and jumped on the My Disney Experience app. I logged in and checked reservations at Olivia’s. There was one for five minutes from then so I booked it on my phone and stepped back inside to say, “We’re here for our reservation.” Odd, but that’s how it went. Continue Reading
